In depth

Verdict

Tonic Du Charmil gets the confident vote with Croix du Guerre and Goldbrook rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second last time out behind Tunes Of Glory in a similar race last time out. He receives all the weight for age allowances here and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Croix Du Guerre rates the main danger on his best form but he has two ways of running and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Goldbrook is another worthy of respect as he is dropping in grade here but his jumping is far from fluent and he is another to have reservations about. Of the remainder In The Frame would have a chance on his best hurdles form but his chase efforts of late have left a little to be desired. The rest look very moderate and for the winner we return to Tonic du Charmil who at least ran well last time out.
