A wide open contest gets proceedings under way and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Algymo, Phillipa Yates Running Times and Tam O' Shanter and the narrow vote is given to Running Times. The selection was a good second behind Court Of Justice last time out and of the same mark and similar conditions here he will be hard to beat. Phillipa Yates rates the main danger as she has been in the form of her life of late and won well last time when beating Irish Blessing but as a consequence she has a penalty for that win and at likely odds she looks worth opposing. Algymo is another worthy of respect as he also won well last time out when beating Blue Endeavour but that was over a much longer trip and he is not sure to see out this distance and he looks opposable on that basis. Tam O Shanter has dropped to a handy mark but he has not looked the force of old and would not want to much rain. Of the remainder Called To The Bar is from a shrewd yard and is dropping back down in grade so should be noted in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Running Times.
