In depth

Verdict

Blue Business is a confident selection in the Beginners chase with Vingis Park and Barrshan rated as the main dangers. The Paul Nicholls trained-seven year old was last seen when down the field in the National Hunt Chase at this years Festival. Prior to that he had put in an impressive performance behind Commercial Flyer over today¿s course and distance in February and a reproduction of that run would see him get off the mark over fences. Those to consider for the forecast include the Nicky Henderson-trained Barrshan. He was pulled up on his debut under rules but he was a point-to-point winner and is clearly well regarded by his stable. Vingis Park returns to fences having won a heavy-ground Uttoxeter-hurdle last December. However, his chasing form is suspect and it is hard to look beyond Blue Business and Joe Tizzard.
