In depth

Verdict

SILENT MAN’s last two victories have come on heavy going but he has won on quicker surfaces and doesn’t have many miles on the clock for an 11-year-old. Dentley De Mee finally won a race over fences at Wincanton 12 days ago but doesn’t look the type to go on a run, though has won around here over hurdles. Ebony Gale wasn’t really improving in the autumn while Sunny Express is proving hard to win with and the handicapper may be in charge with Marble Moon and The Boola Bee at present.
