Verdict

ADHERENCE has won here off higher marks over hurdles and fences. He only weakened on the run-in at Fontwell last time so the drop in distance should suit and he might be a bit of value in this opener having a first run for a new stable. Novus Aditus escapes a penalty for landing a conditionals’ race here nine days ago and is an obvious danger with Iberio successful over track and trip two weeks earlier and also on the shortlist. Duneomeno’s recent Ludlow win came over fences but Exeter third Imperial Joe remains unexposed.
