      Verdict

      After The Rain finished just ahead of stablemate Colourful Dream when they filled the places behind a 50/1 winner here last month. The Godolphin pair are hard to separate and a chance is taken on SHARAC. The latter caught the eye finishing strongly to take fourth at Kempton on her debut and Roger Varian’s filly should improve for this extra furlong. Sylvia Beach is another likely improver representing the Gosdens’ yard having made only a moderate debut at Lingfield but both Kobra and Chanson D'Amour were due to run in the same race at Chelmsford yesterday.
