In depth

Verdict

Round Tom is coming along nicely but faces a stiff task here under top weight. Molly Round has won her last three starts over timber but the handicapper may have her measure now, while Henry Hook is also high enough in the weights now. Kaybeew could build on his Ffos Las win, however, and Red Mile bounced back from a poor run at Wincanton to finish fourth at Warwick. But this could be an opportunity for THE BOSS to get off the mark under Rules. Jeremy Scott's six-year-old couldn't quicken when third over 2m4f at Chepstow last time and will appreciate this extra half-mile. Dropped a couple of pounds since, he could be well treated today.
