In depth

Verdict

Downtherefordancin, Fool On The Hill and Simoun look the ones to concentrate on in another tough race to call, and the tentative vote goes to the last named. The gelding from the Martin Pipe yard was backed as if defeat was out of the question but disappointed when fifth behind Cardenas last time. However, he is sure to have learnt from the experience and we take him to improve past Fool On The Hill who was second in that race. Downtherefordancin was third in a claimer behind Scarlet Fantasy last time but he is more exposed than most and for that reason is opposed. Of the remainder, Euro Falcon was a good second behind Wintertide on his debut and is another sure to improve but for the winner we return to Simoun.
