Onwardsandupwards, Bertiebanoo and Lassarto look the ones to concentrate on in this competitive novices hurdle, and the vote goes to Onwardsandupwards. The gelding from the Paul Nicholls yard was a good second behind Accipiter last time out and with the step back up in trip sure to suit, he will be hard to beat. Bertiebanoo rates the main danger. He won well last time out when defeating Hawk¿s Landing and is another sure to be suited by the step up in trip, but he lacks the scope of the selection and is opposed for that reason. Lassarto is also worthy of respect as he was a fair fourth behind Archie Babe on his debut and is sure to improve, but he did not convince with his jumping on that occasion and will need to improve in that department to score. Of the remainder, Some Judge is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market, but for the winner we return to Onwardsandupwards.
