Magical Legend can beat Silver City in the finale, with Elegant Clutter and After Lent two more that can make their presence felt. Magical Legend has been in great form since joining former jump jockey Liam Corcoran, having won two and been placed twice on each of her four starts. The form of her Fontwell victory has worked out nicely, and she has since run with credit behind the very much in-form She's Our Native at Hereford. She should be able to withstand a seven-pound rise in the weights, and the trainer does not see the track or shorter trip causing too many concerns. All in all, she represents a sound betting opportunity. Silver City is a past course-and-distance winner but needs to hear his hooves rattle on past evidence. Elegant Clutter, a 50-1 winner at Bangor in the autumn, caught the eye when third at Uttoxeter on his return to action a fortnight ago. The ground was too testing even for him that day, and he should run well under today's conditions. After Lent and Windyx both represent Martin Pipe, and as neither make much appeal on form, the market may be the best guide as to which will run the better, but in any case they and the rest have it to do to stop Magical Legend from scoring again.
