A poor contest may go to Sunset King ahead of Jug Of Punch, Too Posh To Share and Pedler's Profiles. None of these can be backed with any confidence, but a chance is taken on Sunset King who has at least reached the frame on a couple of occasions. His third at Wincanton in January was in a non-selling handicap, while more recently the six-year-old finished second in a hands-and-heels affair at Plumpton. Both were over two miles, so today's longer trip should help, as will the return to softer conditions. In addition he can benefit from the stronger handling of Richard Johnson as he bids to finally open his account on what will be his 26th career outing. Topweight Jug Of Punch in contrast has been in fair form but will perhaps find conditions a wee bit softer than he would like as well as finding this trip a bit short. Too Posh To Share is at the opposite end of the spectrum with a feather weight taking his pilot's claim into account, and it would be no surprise if he were to reach the frame, while Pedler's Profiles has a race in him at this level but returns from a small break.
