Mount Nelly is professionally handled and has already run in a couple of bumpers, though needs to settle better. Classic Ruler won a Flat race at Garthorpe last month by 15 lengths and the four-year-old EQUUS GOLD won a similar contest at Barbury. The latter is Flat bred and a half-brother to a 1m2f winner so should have the pace to cope with this sharp track. Others to consider include the filly Feodora along with Sheila Crow’s Love Around.
