Verdict
Keltic Heritage, who jumps well, can land this ahead of French Executive, Jivaros and Klondike Charger. Keltic Heritage was given a spin over hurdles at Huntingdon three weeks ago to blow the cobwebs away before embarking on an ambitious campaign over fences later this season. Luke Dace's stable star was pulled up in the attheraces Gold Cup at Sandown but had earlier impressed with a couple of victories at Cheltenham, and that is where it is hoped he will turn up again in March for the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Chase. Before that he is expected to start the ball rolling by beating today's three rivals despite the weight concession. French Executive was pulled up on his last start at Bangor in May and has had a breathing operation in the summer. He would appreciate a downpour, while Jivaros will strip fitter for the outing as well. Klondike Charger takes some handling and his level of form is nowhere near as good as that of the selection Keltic Heritage who is the class act and can prove that here.
