Janiture can defy topweight at the expense of Damus, Jetowa du Bois Hue and Dante's Battle. The ex-French Janiture picked up a couple of races over fences in April but finished distressed on her last outing at Worcester in May and has been absent since. Described as tough and improving by her trainer, the six-year-old looks to have been found the right opportunity to bounce back despite slight reservations about her rating being a bit high. Damus last visited the winner's enclosure two years ago but has been slowly dropping down the weights and has a squeak as does Jetowa du Bois Hue, providing it does not rain too much. Dante's Battle has been contesting lowly events over hurdles and is not as well treated over the bigger obstacles, while Monte Cristo always finds one too good but is only five years-old. Prominent Profile has a light weight and comes from an in-form stable, but he could well blow up after trying to make all on what is his seasonal reappearance, so for the answer to this puzzle we return to Janiture.
