Papradon is less exposed than most of these after just three runs over hurdles but it is no surprise to see Nigel Twiston-Davies sending the gelding into selling grade having been well held in all three starts so far but he is hard to recommend and a safer option looks to be DONTPAYTHEFERRYMAN, who gets the vote ahead of The Good Guy. Kim Bailey's gelding appreciated the drop into a claimer when successful at Fontwell earlier this month but he has a penalty to carry for that win and that may prevent him from following up. John Spearing's Rising Force has been pulled up in his last two starts over hurdles but he has had a confidence boosting run on the flat since then and has to be considered. Jimmy Frost's Captain Becket is capable but has disappointed of late and a better bet looks to be Dontpaytheferryman. Brian Ellison's gelding has been running to a consistent level of form on the flat and over hurdles of late and a reproduction of recent form may well suffice in this grade.
