In depth

Verdict

Seriously represents the Donald McCain team that has a sound record in these contests and, as usual in such events the market should prove informative as to stable expectations first time up. Similar comments apply to Tim Vaughan's Independent May, whilst Petie McSweetie and Potters Dream arrive direct from the pointing arena and should also be noted in betting exchanges. Ma Toolan was never going to play a part in the finish on her Worcester debut but stayed on late into fourth spot and should improve. The vote goes to BEREA BORU, much improved here last time when runner-up to Azure Fly. He was unable to test the winner that day but was clear of the remainder and a similar effort here will see him go close.
