Verdict

SET THE TREND, a useful sort on the Flat, won very easily at Ludlow nine days ago when Master Dan could only plug on at one pace in fourth. He can defy his penalty if in the same mood as he probably has more natural speed than Boite. Warren Greatrex's charge did nothing wrong when second on his hurdling debut at Market Rasen but that was over 2m3f and he was also a stayer on the Flat. Bantam will need to improve her jumping if she's to make her mark over timber while Sweeping Rock might do better when tackling handicaps but Lochalsh will be one to watch when he gets some experience under his belt.
