In depth

Verdict

Montgermont, Vingis Park and Spirit Of New York are three against the field in this beginner¿s chase and the vote is given to Montgermont. The selection was a fair second behind Iris¿s Gift last time out. That form looks rock solid and under simil;ar conditions here he looks the one to be on. Vingis Park rates a live danger on his hurdles form but he has been let down by his jumping over the larger obstacles so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Spirit Of New York is unbeaten to date and is held in very high regard but he has little experience over fences and at likely odds he may be worth taking on. Of the remainder Stars ¿n¿stripes was a fair sort in points and could go well at a price but his over all profile leaves him with a little to find and for the winner we return to Montgermont who ran well last time and looks sure to improve with that experience behind him.
