In depth

Verdict

The market at Hexham appeared to anticipate TINEGGIORI coming on for his debut outing and Mark Walford’s four-year-old proved to be up to the task. Minella Rescue had a real mixed bag of form in Irish point-to-points and he’s joined Gary Hanmer following a solid third in a bumper at Tipperary in May. Thirtyfour Thirty clearly handles a quick turnaround and he was on the money in a Worcester bumper just a fortnight ago. Jeudidee was all the rage on his debut at that circuit in May and secured the prize with the minimum of fuss. Phantom Gold won a race over two miles at Larkhill between the flags and makes his first start this afternoon for fledgling handler, Ben Brookhouse.
