In depth

Verdict

TOP MAN is yet to fire this term but he’s shown in the past that he copes well with races over extreme distances and the handicapper appears to have given him a chance off a mark of 89. Saxon Queen won a mares event at Newton Abbot last month and the second has gone on to win since. Classic Concorde recently returned to Rules having won a number of minor point-to-point races and his run at Worcester a fortnight ago was fair. Prison Break is stepped up massively in distance while Orchestrated has won over this distance over fences in the distant past.
