Definite Future returned to action in fine form this year, continuing his progression with solid victories at Aintree and Worcester though he may struggle to shoulder top weight over a trip that is shorter than ideal, so preference is for RED RIVERMAN. He has looked impressive in his second stint over fences and the manner of his Uttoxeter victory suggests he can follow up off a reasonable mark. Cape Caster will need to improve his jumping if he’s going to fulfil his potential while Canicallyouback has been out of sorts this season.
