In depth

Verdict

Almufeed is Flat bred but stamina will have to be taken on trust and Second Subaltern has a bit to prove having jinked and unseated John Reddington on his first start for new connections. Bari Breeze was just behind a subsequent hurdles winner when fourth at Plumpton but is likely to need further. SALCOMBE is a half-sister to two winning jumpers and is just preferred to Ultimate Fame, who is a half-sister to the stable’s dual bumper winner Ultimate Getaway.
