In depth

Verdict

It's a long time since Royal Irish Hussar got his head in front but he's finally getting some help from the handicapper. Viserion beat a useful sort at Wetherby in April while Itshard To No will have benefited from his third at Cartmel. Capeland is unexposed and came up against a decent novice at Taunton in March but we'll take a chance on VIVE LE ROI. Also lightly-raced, he seems to run well fresh so an absence since November last year may not be as much a disadvantage as first appears and he enjoys give in the ground.
