In depth

Verdict

Courtandbould has shown potential between the flags and in bumpers without winning and should now be suited by tackling hurdles. The four-year-old GAOT, a winning bumper in France, looked in need of this sort of trip when tackling an extended 2m here a couple of weeks ago and gets the nod over the returning Now Children. The latter, a four-times Flat winner, started odds-on for his hurdling debut at Huntingdon in November but couldn't hold off Book Of Invasions, who has done nothing for the form. You Name Him found 2m much too short at Southwell and can do better over this trip.
