In depth

Verdict

Pateen won at Market Rasen and Cartmel last month and Jessica Bedi claims the maximum. It’s a while since Al Kherb got his head in front but his latest second at Market Rasen came in a higher grade and New Zealander was only sixth. The experienced Tommie O’Brien is on board again but this tight track may suit HATS OFF TO LARRY much better than Worcester and Oliver Greenall’s charge gets another chance with Orchard Grove also interesting on his form in the spring. Sopat, however, would have preferred some give in the ground.
