Verdict

Every Breakin Wave followed up a second at Uttoxeter with a win in a maiden at Newton Abbot. Van Meegeren was clear when falling at the last at Fontwell last year and won on the Flat in June but unseated his rider at the first at Newton Abbot in a race won easily by ULTIMATE GETAWAY, who gets the nod to defy his double penalty ahead of Bangor scorer Crystal Gazing.
