Verdict

Lawney Hill's runners are in good shape at the moment and ROYAL ETIQUETTE is treated with respect having shown moderate ability on the flat. We take a chance with her entry in this race considering the yard is in good form. Ben Haslam's Valantino Oyster has won two races on the level and there is stamina on the dam side of the pedigree. If converting that ability to hurdling then he has strong claims. Sefton Park has shown little in his four jumps starts whilst Hannour had a very poor debut in June. Alan Bailey has far more winners on the flat and it is interesting that all-weather winner Bubbly Braveheart is attempted over the hurdles, but he is probably best watched. Baraathen was a long way behind the front pair on debut at Bangor but will come on for the run, whilst Architrave is not ruled out of the equation on his first start over timber.
