Kalambari should have won last time and can now account for Naked Oat and Cyindien in a moderate affair. This should not take much winning and Kalambari should make a bold bid to get the losses back after his mulish display at Market Rasen saw him throw the race away. Driven into the lead on the run-in, he veered to the left dramatically when shown the whip, allowing Naked Oat to catch him on the line. The latter was booked for second place only and the fortunate winner has since been turned over when only fourth on a return to the Lincolnshire track. He does at least hold Sigwells Club Boy on that form but is still one to take on. The rest make no appeal, although for place purposes, Cyindien may be worth considering. He ran out of steam over a longer journey at Wincanton and prior to that had shown a bit of form, although certainly not enough to beat the selection Kalambari. Philip Hobbs's five-year-old certainly needs to be treated with kid-gloves but we are sure that he has plenty more scope than his main rivals, and he can prove that point here.
