In a devilishly open Novice Handicap Hurdle we take a chance on MINDER whose run when beating Triumph Hurdle runner-up Barizan last July a distance looks promising form while Wester Ross and Ovthenight have chances. Although that run to beat Barizan was a while ago now it still reads as decent form for the pick. He should be fit after a spin on the level, is unexposed in this sphere and looks well weighted. Wester Ross found just the one too good when three pounds better off last time and should do better for the quicker ground. Ovthenight looks to have each way claims under his current burden on ground he likes while Rebel Dancer looks to have a chance for a yard very much in form. It's a tough end but Minder looks worth risking.
