Chasing The Bride has solid claims and is the pick ahead of The Granby and Chicago City. At the age of 11, Chasing The Bride does not have a great deal of improvement left but a repeat of his demolition job at Wincanton last time should be enough. He took advantage of some poor efforts by the opposition to gallop on to an easy success and has no more to do here. He should like the tight course and although he is no Earthmover, Rilly Goschen should still get a thrill out of riding him home. The Granby, formerly with Mary Reveley, can give him most to do, having shaped fairly well on both starts this term, while Chicago City, who will find this less of a test than his last two engagements at Ascot and Newbury is best of the rest. Chasing The Bride is the one to beat though.
