Verdict

An appalling turnout for a decent purse and the racecourse management must be wandering what more they could do. Another Joker has to give weight away to two rivals and while the ground is a little bit of a concern, he is at least genuine and in form and therefore gets our nod. Jason Maguire's mount despatched Palouse on decent ground last time out and with that horse winning three times since, the form is there for all to see. Tarongo won another modest contest here eleven days ago and does receive lumps of weight from the top horse. He doesn't look completely straight forward but he is at least capable of negotiating fences. Dunlea's third looks appealing until you see that it was a well beaten third of four at Huntingdon and that was only after the odds-on favourite had fallen earlier on in the race. A poor race in which Another Joker is taken to give weight and a beating to Tarongo.
