Salinas can land the nightcap at the expense of Dom D'Orgeval and Cooling Castle. Milton Harris' charge managed to control a race completely at Hexham on his last start and if he is a given a soft lead here, there is every chance that he can take full advantage of any benevolence to land this lady riders' race. Dom D'Orgeval is an obvious favourite having posted back-to-back victories and having Polly Gundry aboard. The horse has to be held up in his races so backers should not expect to see him strike until later on. Cooling Castle has bits and pieces of form albeit on better ground while Looking Down has shown nothing of note since leaving Patrick Haslam and is avoided. Isam Top often travels well in his races before finding disappointingly little. A record of one win and ten second placings tells you plenty but he may just respond to a woman's touch. Grimshaw hasn't won for a while although the useful Charlotte Tizzard has been booked and interest would be created should there be any market confidence. Not the greatest of betting mediums on a busy Saturday and it is to Salinas that we look to on this occasion.
