In depth

Verdict

Most of these have been running well enough to consider and Jamacho, who was gaining his fourth track victory when landing this a year ago from today's mark, has been racing in better company. Hurricane Ali finished a close third at Warwick before a very good second at Aintree but jumped poorly when elevated to Class 2 company at Cartmel. Finest View was in contention when falling at the last in that Warwick contest and has been given a break. Enthused has been going well in lower-grade handicaps but this can go to ALIOMAANA, a winner here in October and returning from a long break when leading for a long way in this class at Newton Abbot last month.
