The veteran AYR OF ELEGANCE won here a year ago and is on a lower mark despite scoring over the trip at Newton Abbot last month. Mickyh is another course and distance winner and he would have scored at Fontwell in April but for a crashing fall at the last. Nadim, a winner on the Flat in Germany, has been narrowly beaten here and at Southwell the last twice while any rain would aid the cause of Born To Please, beaten a neck in a better handicap here in April.
