    Verdict

A stronger than usual maiden bumper for the course. Earth Company made a promising debut then only just failed to hold off the winner when conceding 7lb at Kempton. GREGOR has looked as though a stiffer track would suit when twice finishing close up at Catterick so this should be more to his liking. Parramount has been strongly fancied in both starts and though well beaten into second at Wetherby last time the winner looked smart and the remainder were a long way behind. Minella Buster went for £45,000 after battling to victory in a point in Ireland.
