Verdict

Winning bumper Hazzaar has disappointed over hurdles and looks high enough in the weights for his chasing debut on what he's achieved. Winning hurdler Shut The Box has run four times over fences and been placed in them all but Starjac is having his first start over the bigger obstacles and hasn't been seen for two years. KAP AUTEUIL gave notice of an imminent victory when runner-up at Plumpton and defied a couple of blunders to win easing down at Fakenham. He's up 12lb in this slightly better race but looks progressive enough to overcome the extra. Knight Destroyer was beaten 15 lengths into second at Uttoxeter in a race where only two finished.
