SANTANDO seems to handle any ground, should be fit from a recent flat run, and his stable are in form so he gets our vote ahead of Kate Waldron's trio and Livingonaknifedge. Tom O'Brien knows this horse well and whilst he majority of his recent runs have come on a quicker surface, that may just be down to opportunities and if we go far enough back in the form we see that he has won on soft ground in the past. Mey Clouds is consistent and is another who has form on varying surfaces; he seems to stay well so a strong pace would suit. Rash Moment beat the former last time, whilst Young Lorcan is a course winner but is also held on that form. Mylo was pulled up last time but Tony McCoy gets on well with this horse and is back on board today. Aleron probably has a tough task under top-weight, whilst Livingonaknifedge also has a tough task after his rise for winning at Cartmel. Not an easy puzzle, but we will stick with Santando.
