In depth

Verdict

A big field bumper to end the card and we will Sea The Light the confident vote here, with Call Oscar and Ice Bucket the likely dangers. Alan King's gelding improved on his debut run to finish clear second to the highly regarded Be Be King at Wincanton last time. This appears to be a much easier contest and victory looks on the cards. Call Oscar is from a stable doing well in this type of event and he should improve for his debut fourth behind Back Among Friends. Another trainer doing well in this sphere is Henrietta Knight who runs Ice Bucket. This son of Glacial Storm was quietly fancied on his debut when fourth to Little Saltee and can be expected to step up on that effort. Follow Your Heart and Captain Aubrey have also shown ability and cannot be ruled out of reaching the frame, but our idea of the winner is Sea The Light.
