Clondaw Castle has joined Tom George since winning a maiden point at Glenbane in November and should win races under Rules. Lady Vitesse shaped nicely on the Polytrack at Lingfield in January and Emma Lavelle’s Westerner gelding High Noon is a half-brother to three jumps winners so is of obvious interest. HATCHER must have been showing something prior to his debut at Lingfield, however, as he started favourite. He hit the front off the home turn but was swamped for pace inside the final furlong having been too keen in the early stages of the race. Better is expected here and he can recoup losses.
