Verdict

MONSIEUR LECOQ finished third to a couple of higher rated horses at Fontwell last month when clear of the rest. Nick Williams’ charge should have the measure of Ulysses on the bare form and gets the nod. Fields Of Fortune failed to show the expected improvement last time but Pirate Look is rated higher on the Flat than the likes of Veiled Secret and Never A Word and could go well on his hurdling bow. Don Herbager is related to winners over hurdles and fences in France and is a newcomer to note.
