In depth

Verdict

The lightly-raced Board Of Trade ran well for a long way on his chasing bow at Exeter and will strip fitter today. Belle Empress has her sights lowered and any further rain will aid her cause. Clondaw Westie won four times around this time last year and should be approaching peak fitness but SHOW ON THE ROAD was well backed when last seen over fences at Exeter in December and, after a confidence-booster over hurdles, may now be ready to strike. Church Hall was a shock 50/1 winner last time at Chepstow but Thedrinkymeister disappointed at Sandown after a second at Newcastle.
