    Verdict

A decent prize for the track here and Kia Kaha looks the one to be on, with Ingratitude respected and a few others with chances. The selection has won three from four so far and takes on seasoned handicappers for the first time here. Conditions suit, he gets on well with Tony McCoy, and he is open to a fair bit more improvement so this looks a nice little prize to take on that upward curve. Ingratitude is at home on a sound surface and had a nice prep run for this when third at Ludlow in January. He is competitive off this mark and from exhalted connections he is very much respected. Day To Remember has only had one start since December 2006 when well down the field in a flat handicap at Doncaster in October. However, he does have ability, though countering that there is a bit to prove today. Moon Star is from the Paul Blockley yard, and the trainer's national hunt runners have a good strike rate. This gelding will handle conditions well and still looks to be on a fair mark so shouldn't be far away. Noble Raider looks best of the rest but perhaps just has a bit too much weight and we will take Kia Kaha to score.
