Nosam Won at Perth in April on heavy ground, but has not run since. A good horse but carrying top weight after lengthy abscence.
Millcroft Riviera (IRE) Third at Fontwell last time out in race won by King Torus. Won here in June in impressive style over shorter trip; place chances but likely to find some better today.
Lord Strickland Won last time out, and back today with his regular pilot taking a valuable 5lbs off his back. A versatile performer winning here over hurdles back in June; serious chances.
Platonic-My-Eye (IRE) Won his last two starts over hurdles in fine style. Fell last time out over fences in March, he has won over fences but his jumping makes him a risky selection.
King Torus (IRE) Won last time out at Fontwell in August. Penultimate run was disappointing and best ignored; form consistent enough to allow each way chances.
Piper's Rock (IRE) Pulled Up at Hereford last time out. Last win was October last year; easy to oppose.
Peacemaker (IRE) Won over shorter trip here in July, raised 15lbs for this effort and ran into second place in a competitive handicap at Market Rasen; should appreciate step up in trip; one to consider.
Dragon King Won his last two starts over similar trip convincingly; off a good weight with Richard Johnson makes him the one to beat.
Daringly Running out of the handicap and beaten 22l by King Torus on penultimate start; hard to fancy.
