Verdict

Play The Ace has slipped to a fair mark but is on a long losing run over fences and may not be the force of old. For Good Measure won over hurdles in May and has had wind surgery since last seen but his chase career hasn’t gone as well as hoped so far. Shoal Bay needs more after getting off the mark over fences at Worcester but Millie Wonnacott’s claim should help Fingerontheswitch. TOPOFTHECOTSWOLDS (NAP) had a couple of sighters over fences before getting off the mark here last month. He took a step up in trip in his stride on a return visit and jumps well for a novice so a hat-trick may be on the cards.
