The fast ground has produced a very poor turn-out for this bumper with just five runners and we will side with Nelson's Spice, Richey Dunn and Check Up may provide most danger. Jonjo O'Neil's charge made a very promising debut at Worcester in May, running very green in the arly stages before eventually going down by nine lengths behind Mountain Approach. He will know much more about the game this time and looks to have very little to beat. Richey Dunn is a half brother to a point to point winner and his future possibly lies in chases. However if well supported on his debut take note. The only other serious contender could be Check Up, who was given a quiet introduction at Hereford and should be open to plenty of improvement. It is a very modest contest though and Nelson's Spice should run out a comfortable winner.
