Verdict

River Pirate, Toi Express and Flahive's First look the three to concentrate on in this handicap chase and the vote goes to River Pirate. The selection won well last time out when defeating Never and with conditions again in his favour and off what looks a fair mark he is taken to score. Toi Express rates the main danger on his latest third behind l Fireball Macnamara but his best form over hurdles was over further and for that reason he is opposed. Flahive's First was a fair third behind Galway Breeze last time but he just gave the impression he was ion the handicappers grip and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Tactful Remark would be a danger to all if he learnt to settle but he looks sure to pull to hard for his own good again. The rest are out of form at present so can not be put forward with any confidence and for the winner we return to River Pirate.
