Megaton, Sky Mack and Mt Desert are three against the field in a competitive finale and the vote is given to Megaton. The selection has been in the form of his life of late and won well last time out when beating Christope. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and despite his penalty he is taken to win again under conditions that suit. Sky Mack rates the main danger on his best form but he pulled up for no apparent reason last time so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Mt Dessert is another that could go well as he won well last time when beating Water Pistol but that form has since been let down and he needs to improve again to win this. Longueville Manor is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he has had plenty of chances of late without winning one and for that reason he is opposed. Of the others Kelnik Glory is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to the progressive Megaton.
