Verdict

Recent winners Fresh New Dawn and Handy Hollow are certainly a couple for the short-list in this but DOVILS DATE has struck up a good understanding with Charlie Price. The partnership has been successful at Uttoxeter and Southwell in recent weeks and goes unpenalised for 12-length victory last week. Du Destin may have found 3m too far on his reappearance but Our Rockstar makes more appeal as he won over track and trip in March, though is now 19lb higher in the handicap. Gambling Gamut has placed in three of his last four but is still awaiting a first win.
