Verdict

CARYTO DES BROSSES has won 10 times between the flags and his only poor run under Rules came on soft ground at Newbury in March. He had the pace to finish second over 2m at Cheltenham last time and this extra half-mile is in his favour. Last year’s winner Zamparelli is only 3lb higher and Sixteen Letters is not without a chance at the weights while Cat Tiger won a handicap off this mark early last year. I K Brunel has won three of his last five but failed to complete in the other two.
