      Verdict

      Vancouver is well clear on official ratings but was beaten a long way on his only recent start and it’s a worry to see him dropped immediately into a seller. Similar concerns are attached to Woodfort while Elysian Prince was only fourth over course and distance in this grade before his second in an amateurs’ race at Exeter. UTILITY has struggled over fences but this is a big drop in class for David Bridgwater’s charge, who can take advantage if anywhere near his best with his rider’s 7lb claim a plus.
